Having a blast....

Dreams, by Pamela Ramey Tatum, 2010,
I have been studying mixed-media and collage and have just been having the best time.  I am especially loving just learning something new and exploring other sides to my creativity...

I am starting to see things and think in terms or abstract and collage rather than just "Oh I want to paint that."  It's so wonderful to be newly inspired.  YAY!

Fun Workshop with Alyson Stanfield

What a day I have had at this workshop about marketing your art with Alyson Stanfield!   She has so much great information, it's difficult to absorb all of it.  At the end of the day yesterday, I felt exhausted and was overflowing with ideas about what to do for my art biz.  I am excited about perhaps starting a salon or doing an online promotion of 30 paintings in 30 days and selling them for $100 each... So many great ideas and wonderful artists floating around at this event.  And the best part is that these kinds of workshops are so energizing and inspiring...  a jump start to taking things to the next level... ah the pleasures of divine discontent!

Artist's Workshop Gallery

It was a fun show and I was thrilled my painting "Toni Eating Cherries" won honorable mention.
